Big disappointment since, when I Googled "fresh lemonade Santa Fe" this was the first one to pop up. Drove several miles to get here. Nothing of the sort. But pretty little patio. Limonata Sanpellegrino had to suffice. Nice guy apologized.

Came here for a short break while gallery hopping and were very pleasantly surprised. We all had a drink (nice bottled beer collection) and shared a veggie burrito: very tasty, not greasy, filled with lots of veggies and grilled, too! Definitely recommended and a nice place to recharge before hitting more galleries - and, in comparison to the galleries, this will not ruin you financially! Nice outdoor seating, too and service is very friendly although it is more or less a self serve place!

During a recent visit to show off Canyon Rd., we made a quick stop at Cafe Greco. We mostly needed to sit down for a minute and maybe grab some espresso. I decided to try the frito pie because it is a Santa Fe staple after all. Plus, it's not something I make at home. It was standard. Five and Dime on San Francisco St. has the frito pie market cornered. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were as cold or hot as they should be. Plenty of outside seating for nice days and a couple seating options inside as well. The inside banco area was cleverly decorated with kitschy southwest stuff. I think there was a horse? Then it happened. There was beautifully haunting flamenco guitar and mournful, soul wrenching singing wafting it's way into the eclectically decorated room. It was such a Santa Fe moment. It may have been the most beautiful flamenco solo ever performed in my presence and I have seen Juan Sidi and his company twice. It really completed the day and made it feel special. Until....we were leaving. We gushed compliments at the woman playing guitar on the porch, browsed her CDs and thanked her profusely for sharing her talents. I know it sucks getting the "verbal tip", but we had been shopping all day and didn't have any cash. She said very loudly and repeatedly that we should show our appreciation and pointed towards her tip bowl. Then she even got angry when we didn't leave a tip. Bad attitude. For me, it left a bad taste in my mouth. That is more than enough for me not to go back. The entertainment hosted by the establishment is a reflection of itself. So, I won't be going back. Canyon Rd. is full of quality places to stop for a nosh like El Farol and The Tea House.

Touring Canyon Road with a multigenerational crowd can be a challenge. So when a gallery owner mentioned this place as something for everyone we checked it out. A tall man with a turquoise bolo hurried us to a table while we looked at the order at the counter menu so we were kind of stuck. He guaranteed us a great meal or he'd pay for it. I should have taken him up on his offer. It's probably a fine place for a cup of coffee and the sandwiches at the next table looked good but the New Mexican fare left much to be desired. They were out of red chile and salsa and potatoes. The burritos had nothing with them -- just a $9 burrito! And the Frito pie -- well we've had better. I should have told the guy when he asked "how was your food" but just wasn't worth the confrontation. Live and learn. At least my daughter liked her chicken quesadilla and flat Italian soda.

My opinions have not changed after the harassment and threatening calls I received from this place. Please see pictures for my previous review which solely expresses my own opinion.

A beautiful day, outside on the patio. A wonderful Green Chili Hamburger. Awesome. A must visit place when you are in Santa Fe and the Canyon Road Artists Row. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff...a great cafe!

I am sitting at Cafe Greco on this gorgeous sunny day, drinking champagne and Chef Cindy just brought me plate of RED CHILI PASTA! I didn't know I liked red chili pasta! It was a fabulous dish! This is a must have!

The second time I've visited this restaurant, a big relief from overhyped and overpriced fare just at the start of Canyon Rd (you can park across the street). Order at the counter where there are daily specials, from friendly and interesting staff. We got soups both times, one recipe had been in the family for generations. Both soups were generously portioned and very tasty. Inside are a variety of cheerful and interesting rooms with southwest decor. The owner paid personal attention to my satisfaction.

My wife and I stopped by one afternoon for drinks and muffins. Unfortunately, lots of flies. I'm not sure they can do anything about the flies, but maybe some fly paper or traps might help. The muffins were very crumbly and not that great. The Cafe Mocha I had was very bland. These are nice people and the prepared food may be good; I cannot say. Based on coffee and muffins, I would pass on this place.

Food is out of the refrigerator, onto your plate. OK if you want cold sandwiches. They have a big TV running Fox News constantly. Really?

This is Santa Fe's newest and coolest coffee house! Great patio and family vibe!
